What does the Finance Team do?

The finance team focuses on acquiring the necessary funding to fabricate the aircraft, allocating resources to each project group, ensuring the necessary tools are in stock, organizing travel and accommodation logistics for the competition, and compiling a summary report at the end of the year. We are the main point of contact for the team’s sponsors.

As a finance team member, you will:

  • Write sponsorship proposals and reports
  • Communicate the team’s needs to sponsors
  • Create, track, and balance a yearly budget
  • Submit purchase and reimbursement orders
